LatitudeLearning review: extended enterprise LMS, pricing and fit

LatitudeLearning is an LMS for training people who do not work for you: franchisees, dealers, distributors and service partners. It is made by Latitude CG in Saline, Michigan, and it is one of the few vendors in this category that publishes its prices.

Short answer

LatitudeLearning is a strong choice if you are a manufacturer, franchisor or brand that trains a network of dealers, franchise locations or service partners and needs certification and readiness tracked per location, with partner admins managing their own people. It is not built for employee training, and its costs add up through per-user licensing, implementation fees and paid add-ons such as SSO. Associations and teams that want flat pricing should compare MyPass LMS.

Reviewed October 2026 by the team at Kprise, makers of MyPass LMS. Facts come from LatitudeLearning's public pages, listed under Sources.

Who LatitudeLearning fits

A good fit if you

  • Train franchisees, dealers, distributors or service partners rather than your own staff
  • Need certification and readiness tracked per location and rolled up to the partner and network level
  • Have multi-level partner structures, such as region, distributor, dealer and location
  • Want partner admins to manage their own rosters without central bottlenecks

Look elsewhere if you

  • Mainly train your own employees; the vendor says it is not built for that
  • Are an association that needs course access and CE credits driven by your AMS
  • Want one flat price without per-user licensing, setup fees and paid add-ons

What LatitudeLearning is

LatitudeLearning describes itself as "training infrastructure software for distributed networks." It is the learning platform of Latitude CG, a company based in Saline, Michigan, and it is aimed squarely at extended enterprise training: franchise systems, OEM dealer networks, distributors and service partners. The vendor states that it is built "for extended enterprise learning, not employee training." Customer logos on its site include Polaris and Subaru.

The core idea is that the partner location, not the individual employee, is the unit you manage. Learners sit inside organizations and locations, with support for nested networks (region, distributor, dealer, location) and people who belong to more than one. Certifications tie to role-based skill profiles with recertification rules, and dashboards show readiness by learner, location and network. Partner admins manage their own rosters while the central team keeps oversight.

Alongside the LMS, Latitude sells Lumina, an AI knowledge companion that answers questions from your approved content, and services such as SurefireSetup for implementation and an "Academy in a Box" program.

Key features

Organization and location hierarchy

Learners are organized by partner organization and location, with multi-level networks and multi-affiliation, so reporting rolls up from location to partner to the whole network.

Certification and readiness

Role-based skill profiles with proficiency levels, staffing-level certification rules applied per location, and recertification rules that keep pace with product changes.

Delegated administration

Partner admins manage their own rosters within permission boundaries, with automated offboarding and reassignment when people move or leave.

Learn, Do, Teach progression

Top performers can become certified mentors who train their own teams, a model aimed at large dealer and franchise networks.

Lumina AI knowledge companion

An add-on that gives learners on-demand answers grounded in your organization's approved content, priced per user per year.

Implementation services

SurefireSetup packages from two-week Express setups to three-to-six-month Advanced projects, plus administrator training and hourly consulting.

LatitudeLearning pricing

LatitudeLearning publishes its pricing, which is unusual in extended enterprise LMS. You choose one of two base licenses, both quoted per year:

User License: priced per active user (anyone with login credentials), with unlimited enrollments, from $11.25 per user at 100 users down to $7.15 per user at 25,001 to 50,000. Enrollment License: unlimited users, priced per annual course enrollment, from $5.35 per enrollment down to $2.15. Above 50,000 you contact sales. The vendor notes these rates are based on a 3-year contract billed annually.

On top of the license, budget for implementation ($5,000 Express, $20,000 Standard, $40,000 Advanced) and any add-ons: single sign-on ($1,000 setup plus $2,600 a year), standard integration connectors ($2,000 setup plus $2,600 a year), training administration (from $3,200 a year) and Lumina AI ($2 per user per year, in 500-user blocks). No free version or free trial is advertised.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Purpose-built for franchise, dealer and partner networks rather than adapted from an HR LMS
  • Location-level certification and readiness tracking, including staffing-level rules
  • Delegated administration for partner admins
  • Published pricing, including implementation and add-on fees
  • Choice of per-user or per-enrollment licensing

Cons

  • Per-user or per-enrollment pricing means cost grows with your network
  • Listed rates assume a 3-year contract
  • SSO and integrations are paid add-ons with setup and annual fees
  • Implementation starts at $5,000 and can reach $40,000
  • Not built for employee training or association member education

LatitudeLearning alternatives

LatitudeLearning questions, answered

What is LatitudeLearning?

LatitudeLearning is an extended enterprise learning management system from Latitude CG in Saline, Michigan. It is built to train people outside your own company, such as franchisees, dealers, distributors and service partners, and tracks certification and readiness by location and partner. The vendor states it is not designed for employee training.

How much does LatitudeLearning cost?

LatitudeLearning publishes its prices. The User License runs from $11.25 per active user per year at 100 users down to $7.15 at large volumes, and the Enrollment License from $5.35 down to $2.15 per enrollment. Rates assume a 3-year contract billed annually. Implementation costs $5,000 to $40,000, and SSO and integrations are extra.

What is Lumina in LatitudeLearning?

Lumina is LatitudeLearning's AI knowledge companion. It gives learners on-demand answers drawn from your organization's approved content, so partners can find information without searching through courses. It is sold as an add-on at $2 per user per year in blocks of 500 users.

Is LatitudeLearning good for franchise training?

Yes, franchise and dealer networks are its core market. It organizes learners by organization and location, supports multi-level networks, lets franchise or dealer admins manage their own staff, and tracks whether each location has enough certified people. Single-location businesses or employee training programs will find it more than they need.

Is LatitudeLearning a good fit for associations?

It is not the obvious fit. Latitude offers a nonprofit training program, but the platform is designed around partner locations rather than individual members, and AMS integrations are not advertised. Associations that want member records to drive course access and CE credits should compare an LMS that syncs with their AMS, such as MyPass LMS.
