Partner training questions, answered
What is a partner training LMS?
It is a learning platform for people outside your company who sell, implement or support your product. It gives partners a branded place to learn, certifies them with exams, and shows your channel team who is ready. MyPass LMS does this with partner groups, learning paths, certifications and reports.
How do we keep partner companies separate?
Put each partner company in its own group. Groups control which paths and courses partner reps are assigned, and reports can be filtered by group, so you can review one partner's certification status on its own. If you need a separate portal per partner, book a demo and we will walk through the options.
Can partners sign in with their own company accounts?
Partners can sign in through SAML 2.0 or OAuth 2.0 single sign-on, or from your website through the WordPress plugin. Partners without an identity provider register with an email address and password in your branded portal, and are placed in their company group.
Can we charge partners for training?
Yes. List courses in the catalog with a price and partners pay through Stripe, with no MyPass commission. A common setup keeps foundation training free and charges for advanced or technical certifications. Read how selling courses in MyPass works.
How do certification renewals work?
Set an expiry period on each certificate. MyPass sends reminders before the expiry date, and you can assign a shorter recertification course or exam. The Compliance Hub and reports show which partner reps are current, expiring soon or lapsed, filtered by partner company.
How is partner training priced?
Every plan includes unlimited registered users, so you do not pay per partner rep. Shared Hosting is $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, for up to 50 people logged in at once. Private Hosting, at $319 a month or $249 billed annually, adds your own domain and up to 1,000 simultaneous logins.
