About Kprise

LMS for nonprofits: Your mission reaches people. Does your training prepare them?

A volunteer's first day. A new staff member's first week. A partner delivering your program in another city. Are they all getting the same clear guidance, or does it depend on who has time to explain it?

One nonprofit LMS for volunteers, staff, members and chapters, with training assigned, reminded and renewed automatically.

A question worth asking

What happens when the one person who knows how to explain it isn't available?

In most nonprofits, knowledge travels person to person. That human connection matters. But essential training should not disappear when a coordinator is busy, a volunteer misses a session or a new team member joins mid-program.

The same explanation, again

Staff repeat the basics for every new volunteer or hire. Time that should support the work goes into re-explaining it.

With MyPass: Build the essentials once as a learning path. Every new person gets it automatically, assigned by role.

The right information, in the wrong place

Guidance is spread across files, emails, slide decks and conversations. Learners are not sure what matters most, or what to do next.

With MyPass: Courses, SCORM content and assessments in one place, in the order learners need them, on any phone.

Assuming is not the same as knowing

Someone received the document or sat in the session. Can you show they completed the learning your program expects?

With MyPass: Completion records, assessment scores and certificates show who finished. Reminders go to the people who did not.
The shift

Keep the human mission. Take the memory out of the process.

MyPass does not replace mentors, coordinators or live training. It makes the essential learning repeatable: assigned automatically, tracked to completion and renewed on schedule.

  • A starting point for every new person. An onboarding path is assigned the moment someone joins a role.
  • Guidance that fits the role. Separate paths for volunteers, staff, members and partners.
  • Proof of understanding where it matters. Assessments for topics that need more than a quick read, and certificates on completion.
  • Follow-up only where it is needed. Reminders and renewals chase themselves, so your team spends time on people, not lists.
The cost of the status quo

Your mission is expensive enough to deliver. Why should training cost a fortune too?

  • Several paid tools for one jobAn LMS, a course authoring tool, an assessment tool and a reporting add-on: separate subscriptions and renewals.
  • The hidden staff costRepeating orientations, chasing completions and rebuilding the same materials takes hours away from the mission.

MyPass puts course building, delivery, assessments, certificates and reporting in one LMS, priced by how many people are logged in at once, never per registered user. Your volunteer base can grow without adding a seat fee. See nonprofit plan prices

Who you train

One nonprofit LMS for every audience you train

Most nonprofits run several training programs at once, for groups with little in common except the mission. MyPass keeps them in one system, with separate paths, separate branding where it matters, and one place to report from.

Volunteers ready before their first shift

Role-based orientation, safeguarding, safety and program-specific training, assigned the moment a volunteer is added. Reminders and completion tracking run without a coordinator chasing anyone.

Programs you run
  • Volunteer onboarding and recertificationNew volunteers reach their first shift already oriented, and returning volunteers are re-checked on schedule instead of on memory.
  • Safeguarding and program complianceSafeguarding, data protection and program requirements stay current, so a lapse is caught by the system rather than by an incident.
Start small. Judge for yourself.

Don't migrate everything. Test one real use case.

You do not need a training transformation plan to find out whether MyPass is useful. You need one program and 60 days.

  1. 01 · Pick

    Pick the repeated explanation

Choose a training task your team keeps repeating: new volunteers, new staff or program partners.

  2. 02 · Build

    Build one learning path

Put the essentials in the order learners need them, add an assessment if it matters, and assign it to the role.

  3. 03 · Decide

    Decide on your own evidence

Run a real group through it. If it is not easier to deliver and easier to check, walk away.

Nonprofit LMS questions, answered

What is an LMS for nonprofits?

A learning management system built around how mission-driven organizations actually train: volunteers, staff, members and chapters in one platform. It assigns training by role, tracks completions and certifications, and produces the participation evidence funders, boards and accreditors ask for.

Who qualifies for nonprofit pricing?

Registered nonprofit organizations, including 501(c)(3) charities and 501(c)(6) associations; NGOs; Government bodies and agencies. Create your account with your registration or tax ID, or upload proof such as a determination letter. You can start training straight away on the standard 15-day trial; once we verify your status, the trial extends to 60 days and 20% comes off every hosted plan, on top of annual billing, for as long as you stay eligible.

Can we use the training content we already have?

Yes. MyPass supports SCORM, so packages built in common authoring tools import directly, and you can build new courses, assessments and certificates inside MyPass. Start with the material your team already uses.

Can volunteers complete training on a phone?

Yes. The learner experience runs in a mobile browser, so volunteers can complete assigned training on a phone or tablet without installing anything. This matters most for field and event volunteers who never sit at a desk during their shift.

Does MyPass integrate with nonprofit CRMs and association systems?

MyPass includes native integration with 10 association management platforms: iMIS, Nimble AMS, MemberClicks, Fonteva, NetForum, YourMembership, GrowthZone, Personify, Impexium, and Wild Apricot. Other systems, including nonprofit CRMs, connect through CSV import, the REST API and single sign-on. For a specific CRM, ask us to confirm the scope rather than assuming a connector exists.

How is a nonprofit LMS different from a corporate LMS?

Corporate systems assume a stable headcount of employees with company email addresses. Nonprofits train seasonal volunteers, dues-paying members and chapter networks alongside staff, and those groups grow unpredictably. That makes per-seat licensing costly and makes multi-audience, multi-chapter administration essential rather than optional.

How quickly can a nonprofit launch?

That depends on how ready your content and people data are, not on the software. Organizations with courses prepared and a clean list of learners move quickly. Start with one program: the 60-day nonprofit trial is long enough to run a real group through it before you commit.

Your people deserve more than "someone will explain it when they arrive."

Give staff, volunteers and partners a clear way to learn, and give your team a way to see who is ready. Test MyPass with one real program, then decide for yourself.
